Animal Connection • Presentation ![]() Filming the relationships between the inhabitants of Los Angeles and their pets, Radovan Tadic paints a portrait of a society in distress, in search of emotional bonds and spirituality, and at the mercy of psychological extremes and diverse belief systems. The film takes us on a journey through a world where human relationships have gradually been replaced by relationships with animals. A handful of dogs, a horse and a pig become the unexpected harbingers of the deep malaise in our supposedly highly-developed society. Owners who are swept away by their passion for their animals, a woman specializing in inter-species communication, a social worker for animals, and a taxidermist, among others, pull us into their comical, quizzical, and rather disquieting tales.
